2. Estimates and Service Contracts

Any estimates, quotes, or timelines provided through this website or via email are preliminary and for informational purposes only.

No Binding Agreement: An estimate does not constitute a legally binding agreement to perform work.

Formal Contracts: All roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance services require a formal, written "Home Improvement Contract" signed by both the homeowner and ApexGuard Roofing LLC. The terms, scope of work, warranties, and pricing in the signed contract will always supersede any general information provided on this website.

3. Payment Terms and Progress Billing

To comply with California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) regulations and ensure a transparent process for our customers, we do not require full payment upfront. Payment for services will be collected according to a milestone-based Progress Payment Schedule.

Statutory Down Payment: Upon signing a formal Home Improvement Contract, the maximum initial down payment required will never exceed 10% of the total contract price or $1,000, whichever is less.

Progress Payments: The remaining balance will be divided into progress payments tied to specific, verifiable project milestones. While the exact dollar amounts and dates will be strictly detailed in your signed written contract, a standard schedule includes:

Material Delivery: A partial payment due when roofing materials are physically delivered to your property.

Commencement of Work: A partial payment due upon the start of physical labor (e.g., tear-off of the existing roof).

Final Completion: The final remaining balance is due only upon substantial completion of the contracted work and final inspection.

Late Fees: We reserve the right to charge late fees on overdue final balances as permitted by California law and as detailed in your specific service contract.

4. Telephone Payments (MOTO) and Authorization

For the convenience of our customers, ApexGuard Roofing LLC accepts payments over the telephone. By voluntarily providing your credit card or bank information to our representatives over the phone, you authorize us to charge your account for the exact amount verbally agreed upon, which will strictly correspond to the milestones outlined in your signed Home Improvement Contract.

Prior Contract Required: No telephone payments will be processed for initial deposits until a formal, written Home Improvement Contract has been signed by the homeowner.

Security: Telephone payments are keyed directly into our secure, PCI-compliant virtual terminal. We do not write down, record, or store your full credit card number or CVV code on our premises after the transaction is processed.

Receipts: Upon successful processing of a telephone payment, a digital receipt will immediately be emailed to the address on file.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Because we provide custom home improvement services, our cancellation policies are governed by California state law and the terms of your specific contract.

Three-Day Right to Cancel: Under California law, you generally have the right to cancel a home improvement contract, without penalty or obligation, within three (3) business days of signing the agreement.

Post-Cancellation Period: Once the legal cancellation period has passed and materials have been ordered or work has commenced, cancellations may be subject to restocking fees, labor costs for work already performed, and material costs.

Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 5 to 10 business days.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, before-and-after photos, and software, is the property of ApexGuard Roofing LLC and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ApexGuard Roofing LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of this website. While we strive to keep our website accurate and up-to-date, we do not guarantee that the information provided is entirely free of errors or omissions.

8. Warranties and Guarantees
